What do Metallica, Katy Perry, Tyler the Creator, Everlast, Nick Cave, and Weird Al have in common? Well if it was a few weeks ago absolutely nothing, recently they all covered the song, “Daisy Bell (Bicycle Built For Two)” for artist Mark Ryden. Daisy Bell is proobaly best known as the song HAL 9000 sings in 2001: A Space Odyssey.  Daisy Bell is actually a song, written in 1892 by Harry DacreThese cover versionss appear on an LP The Gay Nineties Old Tyme Music: Daisy Bell, which was released in conjunction with his new exhibit "The Gay 90’s" at Kohn Gallery in Los Angeles, which was originally at Paul Kasmin Gallery in New York. The LP was for sale from Porterhouse fine art for $99.99 Here (Which is Sold out) Proceeds from the LP went to the charity Little Kids Rock

Mark Ryden is the artist behind album covers for many famous artist such as, Michael Jackson, REO Speedwagon, Warrant, Red Hot Chili Peppers, 4 Non Blondes and more. Ryden has release a handful of videos on his YouTube page. Watch them all and let me know which one is your favorite!!!
