#CapForStrat Avengers Assemble On Twitter To Grant Fan's Dying Wish

"They'll come back, because we'll need them to" says Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) about the Avengers, the superheroes he commands. Well it seems that commanding force and need for heroes happens of screen as well. Recently the Avengers pulled together on social media for the benefit of a dying fan.
The following story is about a horrible thing turned good. But also it's about the goodness of people. how real life superheroes walk among us every day. theses heroes perform seemingly small acts that end up being monumental things. This is story of  how a few small tweets turned into a great thing, and it will put a smile on your face.

Caldecott is a 60-year-old comic-book fan. His battle with advanced prostate cancer has been difficult; sadly now in its final stage and the doctors have given Stratford a few months to live. His daughter Sophie set up this blog hoping to fulfill her father’s dying wish - to see Captain America: The Winter Soldier  before passing away. His condition is critical which means he cannot see it in a theater, and the DVD release date likely will arrive too late.

Sophie launched a mission:  #CapForStrat

She approached Marvel to try and secure a private screening of the Captain America sequel. Caldecott’s family lso Tweeted  the members of the Avengers; from Chris Evans to Robert Downey Jr. to – to "see if they will take a picture of themselves holding a sign saying ‘Captain America/Thor/Iron Man [insert name of character here] for Strat!’ so that we can surprise him with their messages of support and encouragement"

Can y’all guess what happened next?
More pics after the break.

Captain America is on board:

Even Mr Marvel himself Stan Lee tweeted!
The Army is even showing support!
How heartwarming is this? A community of actors and comic fans rallying around one of their own. This is what being a “super hero” is really about. The outpouring of supportive comments under Sophie Caldecott’s blog  is overwhelming. There are so many more #CapForStrat pics all over twitter! I Hope that Stratford gets to see his movie!
